Do you only take calls and messages?
We offer a variety of virtual reception services, including secretarial services. Our receptionists are able to schedule appointments, make changes as needed, data entry, and other duties. We also offer transcription services; files can be uploaded on the Client Area or emailed directly.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No. You are free to cancel our services at any time, with no extra fees. The only paper you sign is the agreement to pay all invoices before cancelling the business relationship.
Will I receive a phone number?
Each client receives a unique phone number leading to a dedicated line. There is no sharing with other clients.
How are messages sent?
Our virtual receptionists take phone messages and can pass them along via Email or SMS text messaging. Additionally, important calls can be transferred directly to your personal phone or to a specific number supplied by you.
What programs do you work with?
We are familiar with a number of office programs, including Google Calendar, Simple Salon, Shortcuts, and others. Let us know what programs you use for your business and we will be happy to work with you. Check out the Client area I’m sure you will find a booking system that Virtual Reception Services are familiar with.
What are the working hours of the receptionist?
Mon – Fri 8am – 8pm, Saturday 8am – 3pm…… these are Queensland times. There is no down time for holidays, vacations, or illness. Our virtual receptionists are available whenever you need them, and only when you need them. You don’t pay for time not spent actively working for you.
What is VoIP?
VOIP stands for Voice-over-Internet Protocol. It involves making a phone call using an internet router or modem, rather than a standard phone line. It often means cheaper call rates.
